The commonly used heat treatment methods of
titanium pipe include annealing, solid solution and aging treatment. Annealing is to eliminate internal stress, improve plasticity and microstructure stability, and obtain better comprehensive performance. Generally, the annealing temperature of alpha alloy and (alpha + beta) alloy is selected below (alpha + beta) → beta phase transition point of 120 ~ 200℃.Solid solution and aging treatment were carried out to obtain martensite alpha 'phase and metastable beta phase by rapid cooling in the high temperature zone, and then these metastable phases were decomposed in the medium temperature zone to obtain the fine dispersed second phase particles, such as alpha phase or compound, so as to strengthen the alloy.
Titanium tube
The heat treatment process of titanium tube can be summarized as follows:
(1) solid solution treatment and aging: the purpose is to improve their strength, alpha titanium tube and stable beta titanium tube can not be strengthened by heat treatment, only annealing in production. Alpha + beta titanium tubes and metastable beta titanium tubes containing a small amount of alpha phase can be further strengthened by solid solution treatment and aging.
(2) complete annealing: the purpose is to obtain good toughness, improve machining performance, facilitate reprocessing and improve the stability of size and structure.
(3) stress relief annealing: the purpose is to eliminate or reduce the residual stress generated during processing. Prevents chemical erosion and reduces deformation in some corrosive environments.
In addition, in order to meet the special requirements of the workpiece, industrial titanium pipe also USES double annealing, isothermal annealing, beta heat treatment, deformation heat treatment and other metal heat treatment processes.
