Chinese titanium alloy printing technology surpasses Europe and America

In the world's aviation materials, titanium alloy is a very tall material. This material has the advantages of light weight, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, flexibility, malleability and so on. Of course, the good performance of the natural price, titanium this metal content in nature is not low, but its collection and smelting has been a problem. This also directly leads to the high price of titanium alloy. Titanium alloys, which are so much more powerful than aluminum, have taken over the market for high-end aircraft as soon as they are introduced. Titanium alloys are widely used as raw materials in everything from low-tech experimental weapons to widely known commercial aircraft.

The sr-71 black bird superfast reconnaissance plane, developed in the United States in the 1960s by lockheed Martin's skunk works, is an extreme example of titanium alloy utility. The crazy aircraft, which USES 97 per cent titanium alloy in pursuit of Mach 3 speeds, couldn't help but marvel at the us's deep coffers. And the closer modern fighters get, the more titanium they use. Led by the f-4 ghost of the second generation of the average use of titanium alloy parts of 4%, this number reached the f-15 of the three generations of the machine turned over 10% (except the abnormal mig-25), to the f-22 of the fourth generation of the machine, in order to the whole body of stealth and high combat cruise capability, its titanium alloy parts accounted for more than 40%.
