Preparation and editing of niobium alloys

In the industrial production of niobium alloy, firstly, the powder is made into alloy billet, and then the ingot billet or casting is obtained by high-temperature sintering or melting casting. There are two kinds of niobium alloy billet production: reduction method and powder treatment method. The reduction method, also known as the primary reduction method, is to add niobium pentoxide to the reducing agent niobium carbide and alloy elements, mix them with ingredients, press them into shape, and reduce them in a vacuum furnace to obtain the alloy blank.

Powder metallurgy method is also called secondary reduction method, is to use carbon thermal reduction process for metal niobium powder, then add the alloy elements, the article vacuum reduction for alloy billet niobium niobium alloy sintered or fused cast equipment and metal, used in niobium alloy billet is the main equipment for sintering vacuum hanging furnace and vacuum intermediate frequency induction furnace, used for smelting equipment mainly adopts electronic east melting furnace and vacuum arc furnace power consumption. The sintering or melting process of niobium alloys is similar to that of metals and will not be restated here.
