Introduction of world tungsten concentrate output and China tungsten concentrate output

In 2013, the world's tungsten mines produced 97,136 tons (tungsten metal, the same below), an increase of 7% over 2012.China, Canada, Russia, Rwanda, Bolivia, Austria and Portugal are the major producers of tungsten in the world. China is the world's largest producer of tungsten, accounting for 87.5% of the world's total tungsten output in 2013.China supplies 80% of the demand for tungsten products in the international market and plays a decisive role in the international tungsten market. The recent supply situation of tungsten products in the international market largely depends on the Chinese government's tungsten industry policy. China's tungsten production enterprises are distributed in 11 provinces (regions), and China's tungsten concentrate production is mainly concentrated in jiangxi and hunan provinces, whose tungsten concentrate output accounts for 70.7% of the national output, while other provinces only account for 29.3%.Tungsten is a specific mineral subject to protective mining in China. The production of tungsten is subject to total quantity control, and the export of tungsten products is subject to total quantity control and quota license system. However, the actual output in 2013 is obviously greater than the production quota.
