Preparation and properties of pure titanium surface coated with bone fragments extract

Titanium and titanium alloys have been widely used as medical metal materials in various clinical fields due to their excellent biomechanical properties and corrosion resistance. In oral prosthodontics, it is often made into various prosthodontics such as implant, denture bracket, post-core, etc. But the biological activity of ti is insufficient, can be spontaneous formation on the surface of the titanium dioxide layer, can adsorption inorganic ions and organic hydrocarbon compounds in the air, generate - layer dense oxide film adhesion strong, thus change the surface chemical composition and reduce its hydrophilicity, and hydrophilic surface of high biological activity is conducive to the growth of cell adhesion. In addition, in the early stage of implantation, bacterial adhesion leads to the formation of bacterial membrane, which will cause peri-implant inflammation (the incidence rate is 4%~15%). Most implant failure cases occur in the early stage of healing and the first year of bite load, among which peri-implant inflammation accounts for 10%~50% of the etiology. Therefore, surface modification of titanium was carried out to prepare multi-functional composite coating with certain antibacterial properties at the initial stage of implantation and to improve the biological activity of titanium, which could reduce the probability of titanium implant failure as oral implants.
