The largest
titanium alloy casing for gas turbine in China has been successfully developed. The casing is the largest and the largest weight of the overall titanium alloy casing in China, with multi-layer blade structure, three-dimensional channel curved surface, dimensional accuracy up to CT6.
The overall size of the casing is large, the cavity is complex and the wall is thin, so casting defects such as insufficient pouring, solidification shrinkage, cold and hot deformation are extremely prominent, mechanical properties are difficult to guarantee, and it is extremely difficult to develop. For the first time in China, the project team has solved the key technical problems such as melting and pouring of ≥1.2 tons of large-capacity titanium alloy, complex flow channel high-precision control, heat treatment deformation control and precision processing, and successfully developed high-quality titanium alloy casing products with complete structure, dense structure, accurate size and excellent performance.
